Step 1: Achieve Anything By Knowing This One Thing…

As the best-selling author,  Marie Forleo, always says, “You offer the world something unique than no one else does, or can.” The problem is, many of us procrastinate, or ruminiate on what it is we want. Self-doubt seeps in, and then we toy with the painful idea: Am I enough?

Do I have what it takes to succeed?

Will I fail, and embarrass myself in the process?

These questions are natural, but it stunts your personal growth in the process, and perhaps, prevents you from doing, and living out your greatest dreams. In order to achieve anything: a promotion, a great date with a new love, acquiring a business partnership or competing in a race, you’ve got to dim the self-doubt that tends to shine from within…

…and you can easily do that by knowing you have a gift that no one else has, and by focusing on the outcome you want.  

Step 2: Achieve Anything By Focusing On The Outcome

Achieve anything you want by distracting a self-doubting mind, with vivid imagery on what it is you want to accomplish. For example, if you want to be rewarded with a promotion at work (which you rightly deserve!), don’t focus on all the reasons why you may not get it.

“So and so is probably more qualified than me,” or “I’m never rewarded for my work and dedication, so what makes me think I will now?”

These negative feelings reinforce a negative attitude, and limit your momentum towards striving for your goals.

Instead, visualize the outcome you desire–and here’s the real key: don’t attach that outcome with a specific situation, like the promotion you want. Instead, focus on the feelings that being in your ideal job will bring you: joy, contentment, lucrative opportunities to grow, etc.

Focusing on the ultimate outcome will allow many lucrative opportunities to come into your life, and before you know it, you’ve reached your goal–or perhaps, even surpassed it.

Step 3: Achieve Anything With A ‘Worthiness Script’ 

Let’s say your goal is to compete in your first 10k marathon, but right now, you feel out-of-shape and overweight. If you want to go from point A to point M, you need to first recognize and become aware of the current ‘self-talk’ or script you have on auto-pilot.


Your motivation (which drives your ability to act or not act) comes from your subconscious mind.

If, every time you get on the treadmill at the gym, you think to yourself: “Who am I kidding? I can’t even run three miles!” you’re not going to have the momentum to ever compete in a 10k with confidence.

To get to where you want to go, you need to ‘switch the script’–essentially, change your self-talk from negative and discouraging to positive and encouraging.

Achieve anything you want (from a 10k to a promotion) by repeating the following:

“I am ready for great things to happen today. “

“I believe in myself, and am actively working towards my highest potential and greatest outcome.”

“My body and mind is strong, resilient and fit. I am focused on progress, not perfection.”  

Adjust the script to enhance the outcome you desire.

Repeat your script in the morning (while looking at yourself in the mirror), while you’re driving in commute traffic to work, and while you’re cooking dinner.
